{"id":1955,"date":"2018-10-29T09:37:00","date_gmt":"2018-10-29T08:37:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arborus.org\/?p=1955"},"modified":"2020-10-29T09:37:35","modified_gmt":"2020-10-29T08:37:35","slug":"ambassador-mara-marinaki","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arborus.org\/en\/ambassador-mara-marinaki\/","title":{"rendered":"Ambassador Mara Marinaki"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><br>Ambassador Mara Marinaki is the EEAS Principal Adviser on Gender\nand on the Implementation of UNSCR 1325 on Women, Peace and Security.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Prior to this she was the Managing Director for Global and\nMultilateral Issues at the European External Action Service, responsible\n for EU foreign policy in the areas of international organizations,\nhuman rights, and security and non-proliferation of mass destruction\nweapons - a position to which she was appointed in May 2011.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mara Marinaki joined the Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1980,\nand has served abroad in postings in Washington DC, Berlin, Vienna and\nBrussels. Ambassador Marinaki was the Permanent Representative of Greece\n to the OSCE 2007 - 2011.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ambassador Mara Marinaki is a law graduate from the University of\nAthens, and holds an LL.M in International Law from the Aristotelian\nUniversity of Thessaloniki.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ambassador Mara Marinaki is the EEAS Principal Adviser on Gender and on the Implementation of UNSCR 1325 on Women, Peace and Security.
