On April 6, Arborus, represented by Cristina Lunghi, was invited along with the Carrefour Group, represented by Eloise Chereau, and Bureau Veritas, represented by Sophie Bec, GEEIS Project Manager, to give their views on D&I policies.

Cristina Lunghi provided some food for thought on the role of D&I in emerging countries. The GEEIS label is being deployed internationally, particularly in developing countries. It is often observed that the place of women in governance is better there, and that the pay gap between men and women is virtually non-existent. Professional fields are also less "gendered", with women present in tech. On the other hand, when it comes to social legislation, where the law is not yet developed, GEEIS can help raise local social standards.
